She Made a Wallet

Chloe spent the good portion of a day, inside and outside, with a little project in her hands.  Evan's plastic wallet recently sprung a leak (aka hole) and he has been talking about needing a new one.  Lucky for him, his little sister thinks about him all the time and loves him dearly and happens to be crafty.

She came up with a secret idea and made the entire thing herself, with the exception of tying off knots whenever her thread got too short.  It's simply made from felt scraps and snaps and bright green thread, and Evan loves it.  He thanked Chloe and filled it with his money right away.

I'm not sure who was smiling more.... me as I watched this whole thing from start to finish and got teary-eyed during the final exchange of hands; Chloe as she saw the delight on Evan's face and the result of all her anticipation; or Evan who felt this deep loving thoughtfulness from his sister in such a tangible way.....  Such a sweet memory.
