We were spending another gorgeous day, being outside as much as possible, when the rain blew in. It was a refreshing reprieve from what feels all-too-hot (as our blood is still thinning out from winter). The kids love a chance to get drenched, so they ran and biked and filled up a splash pool. Of course there was a bunch of puddle stomping and mud squishing too. I found myself standing on the porch or under the trees in front and back, just marveling at how beautiful a good rain is. We were all quite invigorated when it finally passed over.
