The kids had the enjoyment of discovering beach glass for themselves for the first time!
We saved a pocketful of pretty rocks and glass bits they couldn't bear to leave. Then they moved on to the big rocks, constructing garages and parking spaces and ramps and tunnels for all the trucks they brought today.
Each of them was allowed to bring one big rock home.
Have I ever mentioned how many rocks we have in a pile in our backyard?
Or how many tiny pretty stones we have in a box in the house?
Lots.
And today we found more :-)

There is nothing better than having the beach all to yourself! It looks like it was a beautiful morning. Sea glass is my favorite...I predict you will soon have a little box of sea glass treasures in your house, too ;)
