Bits & Pieces :: November

**Pumpkin cookies baking today... my house smells so good.  Chloe helped with the entire process this time and did a wonderful job measuring, mixing and scooping.

**Ruby kitty is so bad when the weather is cold out.  She's starting already with her feisty frisky ridiculous-ness.  Don't let those pretty green eyes fool you.  She is full of mischief.

**The men, cannons and horses from the Risk game have been in all sorts of games the last few weeks.  So meticulous these two are with setting them up!

**Catapults were involved on this day.....

**I think Chloe kisses her Dad 300 times a day.  She gives him one hundred of those every night at bedtime.  Isn't he so lucky?   (This is how I found out she can count to 100.)

**Evan and Grace have been friends since they were born (just 2 months apart) and it only gets better with age.  With so much in common, it's no surprise she is his second best friend.

**Chloe and Lilah get along better than I ever thought given that they are both pretty strong personalities.  Horsie love is a bond between them I guess.

**Oh, how Evan adores Roy.  None of us quite get it.  Roy is only cuddly when he's been out all night and comes in exhausted.  Observe:

**Chloe has gotten the braiding bug again.  She pins a bunch of embroidery floss to the couch and braids like an expert.  This morning alone she made three.  And that was just while she was still in her jammies.... there is string everywhere.

**This past Sunday it was lovely out.  Evan and Chloe went out and we didn't see them again for almost five hours.  They have so many adventures outside, I have no clue what they do half the time.

**This is (almost) all of the stuff they had to put away when they were done out there. The shed was nearly empty!

**Always in motion when she's outside... becoming just like Evan in so many ways.

**A few games of Battleship, Chip (his beanie kitten) and a pocket knife.  Morning essentials for Evan.

**Todd is working on a huge job right now which involves lots of mud and construction equipment.  Bonus for the kiddos!  Chloe got to drive the skidsteer by without Todd's help.

**So did Evan.  But he's an old pro after all.
