Hitches

The world's most favorite barn kitty.  Her name is Hitches.  She was a stray wandering about the snowy world that is Edinboro in winter a few years ago.  Deke, who works on the farm, was driving his truck on a street bordering their land when he spied a cat on the road.  In rural Edinboro there are no sidewalks and the plows make mountains along streets, so kitty had nowhere to go but wander aimlessly.  Until Deke stopped in the middle of the street and opened his truck door to check on her.  The cat jumped in, climbed up to his shoulder and clung on for dear life.  He couldn't get her out even if he wanted to, but luckily he didn't want to.  He brought her back to the barn and she has lived there ever since.  She rubs on everyone.  She climbs on any lap available.  She will perch on your shoulder if she thinks she can balance up there.  She digs her claws in to hold on as she purrs loudly in your ear.  She will be napping in 30 seconds and you won't be able to get away. But who would want to anyway, right?
